Is this raincoat suitable for hiking and trail use?

Yes. The waterproof-breathable construction and full leg coverage are designed for wet spring trails, mountain terrain, and coastal conditions where dogs encounter prolonged mud and moisture. Full leg coverage keeps the underside clean — especially important for low-to-ground breeds on forest trails.

What makes this different from regular dog raincoats?

Most dog raincoats use coated fabric that blocks rain but also traps body heat. PETT2GO uses Taiwan high-performance waterproof-breathable polyester (MVTR 20000): heat and moisture vapor pass through the fabric outward while rain is blocked from entering. Run-Free Cut™ for unrestricted shoulder movement, full leg coverage, at only 200g.

Is this suitable for Corgis?

Yes. PETT2GO offers a Corgi-specific version patterned for Corgi body proportions — wider chest, shorter leg coverage, longer back. Standard sizing doesn't fit Corgis well. See the Corgi collection for the correct fit.

How do I find the right size?

Does it work in heavy or sustained rain?

Yes. The outer shell is rated for sustained rain exposure. For cold and rainy conditions combined, layer the Motion Fleece Vest underneath for warmth. The MVTR 20000 breathability keeps the vest layer dry even under extended rain.

Does keeping my dog dry actually matter beyond comfort?

Yes. Prolonged wet-fur contact increases the risk of skin irritation and post-hike cold stress, particularly in single-coated breeds and older dogs. Full leg coverage and MVTR 20000 breathability mean your dog stays dry from both rain outside and body heat inside.
